Childcare Experience
As a mother, I have developed a deep understanding of the needs, emotions, and routines of children across different ages. I’m experienced in managing daily routines — from preparing healthy meals and helping with homework to organizing engaging playtime and ensuring smooth morning and evening transitions. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and open communication, and I value building trust and respect with every child in my care. Being a parent has also taught me how to handle challenges with empathy and calmness — whether it’s helping a child regulate their emotions, supporting their independence, or fostering friendships and teamwork. I take pride in providing care that is both loving and reliable, helping children feel confident and happy before and after school.
Tutoring Experience
As both a parent and a tutor, I bring a caring, understanding, and hands-on approach to teaching children from Kindergarten to Year 6. My experience as a parent has given me valuable insight into how children learn best — with patience, encouragement, and a sense of fun. I know that every child learns at their own pace, and I take pride in helping them feel confident, capable, and motivated. I support students across a range of subjects, including English, Mathematics, Reading, Writing, and basic Science and Social Studies. My sessions focus on building strong foundational skills while encouraging curiosity and creativity. I use age-appropriate, engaging activities that make learning enjoyable and meaningful — from playful phonics for younger learners to structured problem-solving for older students. As a parent, I understand the importance of communication and consistency between home and learning environments. I strive to create a supportive, trusting relationship with both students and families to help each child reach their full potential academically and personally.
