Hey everyone, I am a qualified teacher teaching at a local primary school. I have plenty of experience caring for children having worked in OSHC and Vacation Care for more than 5 years. I have also tutored Maths and English and volunteer for St John Ambulance Cadets and Scouts Australia, where I teach kids various skills in first aid and outdoor camping. I also love cooking and adventures on my skateboard. I am looking forward to taking on roles of casual babysitting, school holiday care and primary school tutoring.

"Marcus looked after my 4 children . From the moment he walked in he had games planned he had reviewed their schedule and was diligent . They loved playing monopoly he is soo much fun yet calm the same time ! He communicated during rhe evening with me and got the kids in bed on time seamlessly ! He is also very observant and has Good common sense my son required ventolin and he had good knowledge about asthma and was very calm and knew when to give it ! Childcare Experience

I have been looking after and tutoring children for 5 years in my various roles of employment from the ages 5-12. However, I am still comfortable with looking after children aged 2-12. I always enjoy bringing a smile to children’s faces and providing games and activities to allow children to have fun in play and learning. I find this the most rewarding thing about childcare and the reason for why I joined this career.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring for 5 years at a professional tutoring centre in the subjects of English and Maths. I have a strong passion for teaching Maths and Reading as I believe these skills are fundamental for children’s learning before they get to high school. I hold a Bachelor of Primary Education Degree with High Distinctions in Mathematics, and I have worked for 2 years in a NSW Public School. As my school has a high number of students with English as a Second Language, I am also trained in teaching English and reading to students of various cultural backgrounds where English is not their first language.
