Hey, Im Shannon 28, from Scotland, I am currently ECT here in Australia, I am looking to help families out with evening and weekend nannying. I am a very nurturing, fun, bubbly girl and I have 9 years experience as a fully qualified nursery teacher in Scotland recently 3 years in childcare management. I am very child friendly and outgoing and always put the child’s needs and interests first. I have experience of working with children in a childhood setting aged birth -10 years. Experience with lots of aspects of health needs and requirements such as autism, adhd, cerbral palsy, epilepsy, blind and deaf children, following their plans and administering medication if required. I can plan exciting experiences for fun and learning to needs and interests of child. I have first aid, food handling, child protection certificates and my working with children’s check 🙂

Special Needs Experience
10 years experience working in nursery settings with vast amount of children with varied additional needs. I worked as a lead practitioner in an additional needs nursery for the past 2 years with children with autism and a social and communication delay as well as ADHD and varied syndromes. My sister also had cerebral palsy was blind, deaf, in a wheelchair and peg fed.
Childcare Experience
Been in early years for 10 years, previous to that was always interested to help look after younger cousins. spent time back home with my friends kids babysitting them and taking them out following their needs and interests.
