Hi! I'm Eleanor, a 25-year-old from Ireland, and I'm available for babysitting in the evenings and on weekends. I absolutely love working with children and have loads of experience in childcare. I grew up helping my mom in her creche and afterschool from a young age, which gave me a strong foundation in caring for kids of all ages. This summer, I spent three months in NSW as an au pair for four boys under the age of four, so I’m very comfortable with babies and toddlers. I've also worked as a live-in Au Pair in Spain, looking after two young girls, and I coached youth hockey teams for several years. I'm fun, friendly, and reliable, and I can provide references to ensure your peace of mind. Looking forward to meeting your family!

Childcare Experience

Working with children has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up helping my mom in her creche and afterschool, where I gained hands-on experience with children of all ages, from newborns to school-age kids. I’ve always loved the energy, creativity, and joy that children bring into the world, which is what makes babysitting such a rewarding experience for me. This summer, I had the most fun and rewarding experience working as an au pair on a farm in outback NSW. I was looking after 4 boys, aged 4 months to 4 years old, which required a lot of multitasking and attention to detail. I was responsible for everything from feeding and changing the baby to engaging the older boys with age-appropriate activities, like arts and crafts, outdoor play, and reading. I built such a strong bond with each of the children, and since moving to Sydney, I’ve missed that day to day interaction with children, so babysitting would be a wonderful way for me to stay connected to that. I’ve also worked as a live-in Au Pair in Spain, where I cared for two young girls, helping with everything from morning routines to bedtime stories. In addition, I coached underage hockey teams for several years, which taught me how to manage groups of kids, encourage teamwork, and create a positive, supportive environment. I’m reliable, responsible, and happy to provide references from families I’ve worked with. I look forward to getting to know your little ones and making sure they have a safe and fun time!
