I am a dynamic, emotionally intelligent, experienced ECT working casually around Sydney. You will find me babysitting most weekends for extra cash!
I take bookings as far as 3 months in advance, so don’t be shy and please reach out with upcoming events both during weekend days and evenings.
I was born and raised in California with a Kiwi mum & American dad, so lots of family in NZ/Aus/UK! I graduated from UC Davis in 2011 and later worked as an au pair in London and Bay of Islands, NZ.
I moved to Sydney in 2015, then got my Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) at University of Sydney. I have been in long daycare for the last 10 years in various roles, more recently in leadership before deciding to move back into the casual space.
I am currently applying for full-time work in tech sales, so may have some week day availability with enough notice.
I am fluent in Spanish (one of my Bachelors!) and am learning French on Duolingo. I know nik noi Thai, and the most important phrases in Arabic. I love language, music and cycling!
I am outgoing and open-minded. I can relate to children instantly via their interests, or simply by listening to them and respecting their voice, getting to know them as individuals.
I have spent my entire professional life with children in some capacity, including: swim coaching, private lessons, mothers helper/post-natal care & babysitting from a young age, with my own business cards. This means I have experience with children ages Birth to 13/14!

PS: Due to the “PayTo” fees, I have had to increase my rate per hour for shorter jobs. $40/hr is my absolute minimum & I will only accept jobs of 4hrs or more at that rate. I appreciate higher offers for shorter/last-minute jobs! Thanks so much.

Cousin with FAS/ADHD, worked with clients via Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre for 6 months, volunteered and sang Christmas carols with children with Downs Syndrome; I care for all children! Very patient and flexible, and I believe in great communication and collaboration with parents.

Hello Families, I am from California, so wanted to remind you that I grew up with a different school system. That being said, I took all AP classes and excelled in Spanish, Symphonic Orchestra, and maths finishing at Calculus and taking the AP exam for Calculus and US History. I write and speak well, but mainly I’m great at helping students discover the answers using their existing knowledge, and guiding them to the right place. This allows them to tell me what their requirements entail, which may clarify things in their own head through discussion and questioning.
