Hi, my name is Bejhan, I’m 18 years old, and currently studying a Bachelor of Counselling at university. I graduated high school last year and have been working as an independent babysitter for the past 3 years. As the eldest of five children, I’ve had hands-on experience with children of all ages from a very young age, which has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and strong nurturing instincts. My experience includes not just babysitting, but also helping with cooking, cleaning, schoolwork, and organising fun and safe activities for children. I understand the importance of creating a caring, structured environment that supports a child’s development and well-being. I take pride in being reliable, trustworthy, and calm under pressure - qualities that I believe make me a perfect fit for looking after children and supporting families in their daily routines.
I have been working with children for four years as an independent babysitter, but caring for kids has been a lifelong role for me as I am the eldest sibling to three younger sisters and a younger brother. This experience has made me confident and comfortable caring for children aged two and up. What I find most rewarding about childcare is forming meaningful connections with children and supporting them as they grow, learn, and discover their individuality. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that even the smallest contributions can make a lasting impact on their development and confidence.
