Hi families! My name is Amanda. I was previously a childrens outreach worker in the Riverland for a couple of years where i designed and ran programs, coordinated teams, connected with families and communities and worked with children. Additionally i have worked locally as an OSHC Coordinator.
I work with babies to teenagers and young adults. Specifically, i have a heart for disadvantaged kids and kids in DCP care or ASD.
I am down to earth, genuine, and passionate young woman who desires to do well for people! I have a degree in Social Science and Human Services, also a Dual Diploma in Youth Work and Youth Justice, and Cert 3 in Disability. I was in the disability field for 6 years where i managed high level clients. I worked closely with one family for four years supporting a young boy with autism most days a week.
I currently work as a Sole Trader in support work and have been in the community sector for 10 years
I love animals and outdoors, i am willing to support with household tasks and willing to discuss other requests that you may need support with such like small errands, odd jobs etc.
I have some fun card games, enjoy arts, crafts, cooking, sports and other fun stuff!
