About Me: Hello! I am Eve I am 23 and I am from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I came to Sydney in December 2022 after graduating from university. I studied an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance and then a master’s in International Business Management. Between finishing university and coming to Australia, I worked as a nanny for 6 children under 7 (newborn twins, a 2 yr old,3 yr old, 5 yr old and a 7-year-old). I have genuine care for children and believe I have a warm and patient personality. Experience: Nannying (0–3-year-old): My responsibilities included feeding, diaper changing, putting the kids to bed, getting the kids dressed in the morning and driving the kids to playgroups and appointments. In their free time we read in the library, went to the park, played at home or went to the museum/ activity centre for a treat on a Friday. I occasionally bottle fed the newborns and nursed them when they were crying but my main responsibilities were with the older girls as it was a busy household! Nannying (5- 7-year-old): My responsibilities included driving the kids to and from school, helping them with their homework and nighttime reading, driving them to after-school activities, general supervision and maintaining a structured daily routine. Prior to becoming a full-time nanny, I gained valuable childcare experience as a babysitter and through volunteering at the local nursery, tending to the needs of children in various age groups. Skills: Strong Communication: I maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and any issues that may arise. Adaptability: I enjoy fitting into the way families work and listening to what is required of me as a nanny. Organizational Skills: I am skilled in time management and keeping children on schedule with meals, naps, and activities. Reliability and flexibility: I have no other commitments as my contract as an admin assistant in the CBD has ended. I also live locally in Woollahra so I can offer reliable and flexible childcare to accommodate your family's needs. A genuine passion for providing quality care to children: I have always had a special bond with kids and I believe in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for them to thrive. General household maintenance: I believe nannying comes hand in hand with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, meal preparation, and other household tasks. I’m happy to cook and meal prep and even do food shops if necessary - I have a license but don’t have a car but I walk to do my own so it’s no hassle. References: Available upon request.
