I have a cert III in early childhood education and care, in which I am currently working towards a diploma of early childhood education and care. I have experience through working in childcare and creating activities and experiences for children to learn and engage in. I love helping children to become confident beings. Special Needs Experience
I have a cousin with Down syndrome, I have babysat him whenever needed and provided activities for him while I was with him to keep him engaged and follow his interests into play
Childcare Experience
I have been looking after children for majority of my life through babysitting younger cousins (some with special needs) and working in childcare. I am most confident with the ages of 8months - 4years but I am also happy to work out of this age group! The most rewarding thing of working in childcare for me is being able to help children with their development and watching them grow into their own personalities and interests. I love helping children to explore their interests more through creating opportunities through play
Tutoring Experience
I have helped tutor my younger cousins and family friends with their homework or through helping them to understand the concept or subject they are learning. I have helped explain the topic and given examples, I like to make sure they properly understand the topic and are able to ask as many questions they need to help them understand
