Hi parents/guardians. I am a qualified primary school teacher. I am from Ireland. I have experience working in both mainstream primary and special education settings. I also have experience babysitting a range of age groups. I have worked in summer camps and tutoring jobs too. I am highly motivated and innovative. I am a naturally outgoing, caring and approachable individual who will try and bring out the best in each child. My experience as a mainstream class teacher, an ASD unit and special education teaching have provided me the opportunities to support and work directly with a variety of learners of varying personalities, abilities and needs. My working with children’s check has been completed and I am available to work. I am looking for babysitting, nannying, tutoring or odd jobs. Special Needs Experience
I graduated from Dublin City University with an Honours Bachelor of Education Degree, in 2019. I also have a level 5 Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL) Diploma. I have five years experience teaching experience in both mainstream and special education settings.
Childcare Experience
I have five years qualified teaching experience in both mainstream and special education settings. I completed various teaching placements throughout my four year degree too. I have taught after school STEAM and Lego Engineering clubs. Additionally, I have worked in children’s summer camps. I was tasked with supervising and entertaining children, while all the time providing a safe environment for them to enjoy. I have also tutored children with additional needs.
Tutoring Experience
I teach primary school children so I teach a broad range of subjects including science, mathematics, geography, history, art, music, sphe, Gaeilge, English, physical education and ethical education. I also have a TEFL (teaching by English as a foreign language) diploma. I have worked with many children whose first language is not English. I have worked alongside many professionals, such as Occuptional Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists etc. I have worked with children with motor issues and helped to improve these.
