Hi Parents, I am 26 year old Primary School teacher with 10 years of babysitting experience and 5 years of teaching experience. I pride myself in being able to build a great rapport with any children that cross my path. I am responsible, fun and bubbly. My babysitting experience is mostly with children aged 6 months - 7 years old but my teaching experience is mostly with children aged 9-11 so I’m a true all rounder! Special Needs Experience
My minor specialism for my Bachelor of Education was in Maximising Classroom Inclusion for Children with ASD. I also have experience as a Learning Support Teacher working with children with diverse needs eg. Down Syndrome, dyslexia and global developmental delay (GDD).
Childcare Experience
I have 10 years of casual babysitting experience of children mostly from 6 months to 7 years old. I have experience with bottle feeding, sleep schedules, outings to parks/playgrounds, simple arts and crafts etc. I also have 5 years of teaching experience so I have a lot of experience with behaviour management.
Tutoring Experience
I have tutored in English and Maths to 2 children, one age 9 and one age 11. Topics covered included comprehension, reading, vocabulary, spelling, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and time.
