Hi everyone, I’m a 28 year old primary teacher who moved from Ireland to Sydney July 2023. I have been working in a preschool which I love since arriving in Sydney but I am now available to babysit/tutor. I have 6 years teaching experience with children from 4-13 years old. I have many years babysitting experience also as I grew up babysitting neighbour’s children after school and more recently I regularly babysat my nieces & nephews (ages 6months -9years old). I also have lots of experience dealing with children who have various special needs as I worked as a special education teacher in my previous school. I love reading, cooking, playing music and being outdoors. Pet friendly-especially if a dog is involved!! I have my WWCC and first aid training complete and can also provide my Bachelor of Education transcripts if needed. Looking forward to hearing from you, Kate

I have 2 years experience as a special needs teacher in my previous school. I also completed summer camps for children on the Spectrum.
Childcare Experience
Babysitting- 12 years experience Teaching/tutoring-6 years experience I’m comfortable with any age from 1-13 as that is where I have the most professional and casual experience with babysitting and teaching. I particularly love working with with children 2-7 years old as it’s where you see children reaching huge milestones and they are also full of fun and energy too!
Tutoring Experience
I’ve been a primary teacher for 6 years holding an international bachelors degree in Education. I spent 1 years as a special education teacher working with children with Down syndrome, dyspraxia and children on the spectrum. I spent four years teaching a mainstream class with one year in year 1, 3 years in year 2 and one year in year 5.
