Hello! I have just arrived in Australia a little over 2 months ago on a working holiday visa. I get on really well with children of all ages and I would describe myself as a fun, energetic, kind and caring person. I am also a huge animal lover who misses her pets at home in Ireland dearly and so, pets would be a huge bonus to the job. I am an experienced Primary School teacher on a career break from Ireland where I had worked full time for the previous 4 years before coming here (ages ranging from 4-12 years old). I have great experience with children of additional needs in the primary school classroom. I have also grown up in a home where my mum is a full time childminder and I have plentiful experience in helping out with children as young as 5 months right up to children in their early teens. I have also done plenty of babysitting and nannying throughout the summer holidays myself from the age of 15. I spend much of my time outside and I love being at the beach. I am active person with a keen interest in pretty much anything sports and fitness related. I enjoy listening to music and reading when I do take time to relax. I love being creative and enjoy simple art making as a passive hobby. Additionally, I have completed one year of a BA in Counselling and Art therapy which I have deferred until I return to Ireland.
