Hi Parents, I am a qualified Primary Teacher with 5 years experience teaching children in Primary Schools in Ireland from ages 4-12. I also have 4 years experience babysitting for a neighbour’s family with children aged between 9 months and 6 years, which I really enjoyed and built a great relationship with the family. I am available for babysitting/nannying as well as academic tutoring and help with homework etc. I would love the opportunity to work with your family. I have current WWCC, first aid, police check and all the relevant documentation at your request. Looking forward to hearing from you!
In my teaching career, I worked with many children with ASD, Down’s Syndrome, Dyslexia and many other needs. I have training in ASD through the Middletown Centre for Autism, as well as working one on one with Saskia Dodebier BCBA in Autism and Behavious Management.
I have 5 years experience in Primary Schools, teaching children from age 4-12 in a mainstream and learning support role. Is also have 4 years experience babysitting for a neighbour’s family most Saturdays from 9am-5pm, which included feeding, entertaining, changing, putting down for naps and some light house work. These children ranged from aged 9 months to 6 years. The most rewarding thing about caring for children is watching them grow and learn and experience the world around them and being able to help them and create fun learning environments is a privilege.
I have a Bachelor of Education in Primary Teaching and have experience tutoring children from ages 6-12. I spent two summers tutoring one child, age 7, with ASD, which included assistance with reading maths, arts and crafts, science experiments, baking and fun excursions. I also ran an after school homework club in my school, where I helped children from ages 6-12 with reading, maths and other curricular subjects.
