Hello Mums, Dads and anyone needing some support! I grew up on a dairy farm in North-east Victoria with my Mum, Dad and younger brother. I then went to boarding school from year 9 - year 12, down in Geelong where I lived in a very diverse boarding house. I graduated last year and am now studying Arts/Law at Melbourne University and living at University College. I am a huge people person and love hanging out with kids! I really value honesty, generosity, independence, loyalty and respect. I have a very strong work ethic and am so excited to meet you!
As I have been living at boarding school for the past 4 years I haven’t had the chance to do much babysitting or working with children jobs. However, during the holidays I would babysit casually for a few family’s, these children being around 4-12 years old. I also did a lot of tutoring during high school with middle-school students. I am most comfortable working with children around this age however would be more than happy to babysit, nanny etc… with children of all ages. I find watching and supporting children through their journey of maturing and self-discovery very rewarding, as well as helping children achieve their goals and aspirations. I also enjoy being able to relate to children with their struggles and interests from my own personal experiences.
During high school I tutored middle-school students once a week, covering all subjects. Throughout year 11 and 12 I studied the VCE subjects; English, General Maths, Health and Human Development, Geography and Business Management. All of which I am extremely passionate about, maths not as much but am still happy to tutor and assist for this subject. I graduated year 12 in 2023 with 3 academic distinctions and received full academic colours in both year 11 and 12. I am currently studying Arts/Law at Melbourne University with Criminology as my major and Law/Justice as my minor. I don’t have any formal teaching experience.
