Hi parents, I’m a young, outgoing primary school teacher. I love working with children and hence am very eager to babysit, nanny or tutor. I’m very familiar with the Australian curriculum and have taught here for 3 years. I’ve been teaching for 6 years altogether but working with children for 12 years in camps, as a nanny etc. I have just moved to Byron. I’m not looking for work as a teacher as I am trying to work on my healing business - I am a reiki master and breathwork facilitator. I would love to continue my passion of working with children though and am hoping to connect with some local families here. I am very flexible at the moment and have a lot of availability. Special Needs Experience
In college we did school placement in special need schools and autism units. As well as this, I have acted as a nanny for younger cousin with special needs.
Childcare Experience
I have been looking after children for almost 10 years now between working at camps, babysitting or teaching children. I am comfortable with all ages but from teaching have the most experience with children from 4-12 years. It’s very rewarding seeing children growing, learning and enjoying themselves in a safe environment and spending time in the great outdoors.
Tutoring Experience
In Ireland I have tutored professionally after my teaching hours for the last two years in Irish, English and maths. I also tutored for the four years previous to this while in university.
