Hi there! I’m a student living in Newtown looking for some odd babysitting jobs in the afternoons/evenings. I have an Advanced Science Degree (with Honours) from the University of Sydney, so can tutor in a heap of different subjects for young kids, and particularly Maths and Science for older ones.

Childcare Experience
I’ve been caring for children all my life! Growing up with three younger siblings who were 5-9 years younger than me was where I got the most experience with understanding how children function. I’ve also been involved in kids ministries at my local church since I was a young teen, so I’ve run kids clubs, youth groups and holiday camps for many years. I’ve also taught swimming to kids aged 3-8 years old and refereed kids soccer at different points.
Tutoring Experience
I’ve tutored friends’ kids informally in the past and helped out as a volunteer teacher in a primary school. I did the SAT (Standardised Achievement Test) in year 11 and 12, scoring an equivalent ATAR of 98.1. I’ve also completed a University Degree (Bachelor of Advanced Science (Hons)) and received the University Medal after achieving a HD WAM. I’ve received the Dean’s List multiple times during this degree and received a scholarship for my honours year. I particularly love science and maths, but am pretty passionate about learning in general and would love to get alongside your child and help them be passionate about it too!
