I have 5years experience as teacher, part time tutor and currently as teaching aide in primary school. I also do child care jobs and other house works, cleaning and casual help. I also worked in before schoolcare, after school care and holiday programs as education support worker. During my work as a Casual Education support worker in Western Autistic School and previously an Integration aide in primary school, I have participated in providing support to students and assistance to teachers. I believe I am competent in performing my role and completing specific tasks and routines skills. I assist them with numeracy activities and give clear and easy to understand instructions. It is also part of my routine to seat with one of the students in the class and observe his/her reading skills, guide and correct if necessary.P

Childcare Experience
I’ve been working as teaching assistant for almost a year now, mostly to primary students. I was able to provide support to students especially with their literacy and numeracy learning skills. In my experience as childcare worker, I also provide basic physical care by supporting them in toileting, including others who were still in nappies or transitioning, others who needs first aid and assist them in mealtimes and playground. Oftentimes, I was assigned to students with challenging behaviors which needs emotional support from teachers and ES. I also facilitate their engagement with play and learning tasks/programs as directed by class teacher/s depending on the student’s interests into the learning process. Its my passion to teach and care for the kids and its a joy to see them grow and achieve small to big milestones in their life.
Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring for 5years in all levels of education; Primary, secondary, tertiary. I’m passionate in teaching mostly on math, science subjects but open and knowledgeable to other subjects also since I had my engineering degree before and previous teaching experience in Uni.
