Hello guys! My whole life is based around teaching and helping kids, I work as an education assistant in schools in my area, so I’ve got lots of experience with all primary school aged kids & making a fun time with them. Looking for a bit of extra work for days I don’t work at schools / after school. If you need a babysitter I also do that for a couple families already so I’m comfortable with craziness of bedtime routines and cooking / cleaning up (and keeping them entertained- I’ve always got fun games). Special Needs Experience
I am currently in the middle of completing my Certificate lV in Education based support which will allow me to work one on one with students will special needs. I am currently doing my work placement for my course & am already doing relief work for special needs education assistants so I have lots of experience handling kids with ASD, ADHD, ADD and many other.
Childcare Experience
I’ve grown up surrounded by families with children and have always loved looking after little ones. I have been working as an education assistant with primary school students since I’ve got my certificate lll, so for the past year. Majority of my work is with kindy & preprimary aged kids at schools but have looked after kids from ages 1-12 for years.
Tutoring Experience
As an Education assistant I work one-on-one or with small groups in the classroom that need additional support. I take literacy & maths rotations every day with students and have been trained with techniques to help teach students while keeping them engaged. Have worked with students from kindy to year 6 and have had lots of experience with those with learning difficulty’s and delays with processing as well, I understand all students have different needs and are going to benefit from different learning styles, I love figuring out what is best for each student so that I can help them learn in a way that is going to be most successful for them. It’s all worth it when I see them proud of themselves. I am also qualified up to grade 7 in practical piano and completed all piano theory exams. I have played since I was 4 and had lessons up to last year when I didn’t have enough time to pursue the last grade I had left until I was finished.. but if you’re child needs any music assistance I’m your girl!
