I am a university student who grew up with a younger brother who I helped raise as there was nearly 8 years between us. I’m a friendly, loving, kind and caring person who’s slogan would be happy to help. My experiences with children are varied too. I have been a primary school teachers aide, began a childcare qualification with placement in the babies room, did casual babysitting, drop off and pick up for a 5 year old and volunteer as a live-in mentor for teenagers transitioning from out of home care into independent adulthood. I love kids of all ages and spending time with them is always a joy, especially on adventures big or small. It always makes me happy. When relaxing I watch docos, listen to podcasts and hang out with my dog.
I have lots of personal experience with type 1 diabetes so very comfortable with this.
I have a wide variety of babysitting experience especially with under 5 years olds as well as previously working as a teachers aid for grades 2-4. I’ve done babysitting, daycare and school drop offs and pick ups, meals, baths as well as bedtimes. I especially enjoy babies and toddlers but have also taken children to the museum, zoo, playgrounds and on public transport with little issue.
I have tutored several times both as part of a teachers aide job and for year 12 history and English students as well as general tutoring of undergraduate university students in a peer support program.
