Hi Everyone. I grew up on in a family of five on a farm in Ireland. I am a Primary School Teacher currently on a career break. Working with and caring for children is my passion. I spent my teenage and college years babysitting for families in my local community and built lasting relationships with both kids and parents. Since entering the teaching profession I have spent my summers working at camps (Lego & Dance). Most recently I have provided home tutoring to children who were at an educational disadvantage because of covid-19. My favourite activities to do with children are; read stories, put on plays, bake, go for walks and do lots of arts and crafts. I am creative, kind, sporty, dedicated and hard working and I look forward to working and collaborating with each family.
During our college training we received training to enable and teach children with special needs. I have taught children with a range of special needs and I have participated in summer programmes for children with Autism.
I have been looking after children since I have been 14 years old. I feel comfortable caring for children of any age. My favourite thing about being around children is getting to see a glimpse of the world through their eyes. I love to partake in the fun and magic children bring!
I am a qualified primary school teacher, having qualified in 2018. I have taught a range of classes from children aged 5 years to 13 years. I have given home tutoring before during the pandemic to help children who were at an educational disadvantage.
