Childcare Experience

Over the past two years I have worked as a residential boarding supervisor, looking after 80 students from years7 - 12 across three dorms. Throughout this role I have experience on the following: • Bedtime and morning routines • Taking students to activities • Tutoring & homework/assignment support • Pool supervision • Encouraging organisation • Providing opportunities to learn through play • Mealtime supervision • Supporting personal hygiene & healthy diet • Pastoral wellbeing support In addition to the role outlined above I have cared for primary school children and younger within extended family settings.

Tutoring Experience

Within my boarding school role, I regularly supported students with their study sessions, in particular providing assignment assistance. As a third year psychology student with a HD average, I am particularly passionate about helping students of any level with assignments and teaching them strategies that help with breaking down assignments, and are useful regardless of which subject the student is navigating. Additionally I have experience as a volunteer ESL tutor at TAFE with adult migrant populations. Finally, within the arts space, I have numerous qualifications and have tutored in musical theatre, speech and drama, vocals, and saxophone in the past
