Childcare Experience
I have worked as a teacher in Ireland for the past six years. In this role, I taught PE and Mathematics to students aged 12 to 18. I also cared for the pastoral needs of all students while acting as Year Coordinator. During this time I also worked as a part-time nanny two evenings a week and at the weekends. In this job, I cared for a two year old child. Part of my job included preparing food, light house work, bathing and putting him to bed. During my time in university I also worked part time as a nanny for a family with three children aged 12, 10 and 7. I helped each child with their homework and also brought them to their extra curricular activities in the evening. I love working with kids and find it incredibly rewarding. I enjoy helping children learn and grow, especially being present for those ‘aha moments’. For me, being around kids brings so much laughter, creativity and a sense of wonder that’s pretty hard to beat.
Tutoring Experience
I am a qualified PE and Mathematics teacher. I have taught both subjects to students aged 12 to 18 for the past six years. I also provided one to one Mathematics tutoring for students of the same age for the past eight years. I provide each students with a set of resources they can take away and use for further revision.
