Hi mums and dads! I am from Ireland and I have recently moved to Sydney. I am a kind and caring teacher and child minder with 7+ years of experience working with a variety of ages. I am skilled in creating fun and engaging activities for children of all ages. I am an active person and enjoy exercising and being outdoors. Painting is a passion of mine and I really enjoy creating artwork with children and inspiring their creativity. I am a clean and tidy person and I would be happy to complete any household jobs that you require me to do. I am also confident in cooking and would be happy to prepare and cook meals or school lunches if required. I have grown up with lots of animals in the home so I would be delighted to take care of your pets also! I am currently nannying for two families during after school hours but I am available for childminding every morning on weekdays and I am also available during weekends.

Special Needs Experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher and have had lots of experience working in autism units. I worked as a special education teacher, supporting children from junior infants to 6th class from 2021-2022. In 2021 I completed the Summer provision programme in Ireland with a boy with additional needs.
Childcare Experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher from Ireland. I have taught a variety of classes with ages ranging from 4 to 12 years old. I graduated with a Bachelor in Education in 2021 and I have had a full time job in a primary school in Dublin for the last two years. During the summer of 2021, I completed the summer education programme with a 6 year old child who had Spina Bifida. I spent two weeks working with him in his home. During my time working one on one with him, I supported him with mathematics, took him on excursions, created artwork and baked. From 2015 to 2018, I minded a young girl every weekday during her school holidays and several weekends. During the day, I provided entertainment for her by playing games indoors and outdoors, going for walks and cycles, creating artwork, making puzzles, playing with her dogs and much more. I also had the role of preparing and cooking her meals. In addition to this, I have minded relatives’ and neighbours’ children on many occasions up to the age of 13. I am confident with caring for babies and I am currently minding a one month old boy on weekdays. These experiences have allowed me to gain extensive insight into communicating with and caring for children.
Tutoring Experience
Last year I tutored for two families in Dublin. I worked with four children with ages ranging from 6 to 10. I have experience mainly in the subjects of English and Mathematics and in particular in the area of phonics and reading.
