Hi everybody š Irish female with 2+ years experience in primary school teaching and 6+ years experience as a babysitter for families both short term and long term. I have recently relocated to Sydney (I have accommodation in both Bondi and Botany) so can easily travel anywhere east/west Sydney. I would like to offer my support and get a chance to know the community through babysitting, tutoring or by simply just giving a helping hand in any way possible. I am happy to help looking after little ones of all ages. I am organised, punctual and reliable. I put a lot of care into all of the work I do. I am first aid qualified, have a clean drivers licence and have also completed my working with childrenās check. For any more information please do not hesitate to contact me - thank you for reading āŗļø
I completed a module when studying my masters in education degree to work with children with special needs. I have plenty experience babysitting children with ASD and I have also worked in ASD units in schools at home in Ireland.
I have been looking after children since my early teens. I babysat for families in my local area on both a casual and long-term basis. I am most comfortable looking after children who are 3+ years old. I have an additional 2+ years experience working as a primary school teacher and I have worked with all age groups from KS1 to year 6. I love my job and love working with kids so I hope to continue in this line of work here in Sydney.
I have a masters degree in education. I have been tutoring since I began my college course in 2020. I was tutoring a girl in year 1 and helping her enhance literacy skills such as reading, pronunciation and sounds. I was also tutoring her brother who struggled with maths and was ASD. Each tutoring session was fun and interactive - the kids and I formed a strong relationship I was sad to leave them. I also worked as a casual babysitter at home and offered educational support while they were in my care. I have also taken part in a programme in Ireland the past 3 summers where I look after kids with ASD for 40 hours in the month of July. I would arrange time to pick up the kids and we would go on educational trips, place an emphasis on academic learning, and the main priority was enhancing social skills. Each summer I have taken 2/3 kids and it has been such a wholesome enjoyable experience. I have an additional 2+ years experience in primary school teaching. I have taught all age groups ages from KS1- year 6. I also worked as an SET teacher (special education teacher). The focus of this role is to take children out of class for additional support often 1:1 or in group settings depending on the needs of the children. Throughout these sessions I would help with literacy, maths, behavioural and social skills.
