Hi there! I am a qualified primary school teacher from Ireland with many years experience in teaching, providing childcare and supervising children from newborns all the way up to early teens. I have always been very passionate about working with children and I take seriously the privilege and responsibility of looking after your child. I am bubbly, friendly and creative and I have a talent for making tasks and games fun for children. My priority is to provide enjoyment for your child while attending to all care needs in a professional, caring manner. I am currently available 7 days a week. I live in the Bondi Junction area, and can travel for work. I look forward to meeting you and your family! Rachel
As part of my teacher training, I completed modules in Special Educational Needs. I have many years experience teaching children with Special Needs, such as Downs Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, ASD and ADHD.
I began babysitting at the age of 13, and since then have provided private childcare, volunteered and ran children’s camps, provided private tutoring casually until finally undertaking a Bachelor of Education in 2017 to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a primary school teacher. I have taught from ages 4 up to 13, and looked after newborns and families of 2-3 children varying in ages. I have a wide range of experience and am enthusiastic about working with children of any age.
I am a qualified primary school teacher of two years with a Bachelor of Education degree from Ireland. I have also tutored privately in children’s homes. I am passionate about literacy and numeracy, particularly in the earlier years as I believe a strong foundation in both is fundamental to a child’s educational progression, but most importantly the child’s confidence as a learner.
