Hello 👋 My name is Harmony Mally, I have always had a passion for the care of children as I have been doing it ever since I was younger, caring for my cousins and my baby sister. I have my own vehicle and a valid license and can do pick up and drop off if you need. I carry a valid and current paid working with children card (blue card) along with a valid police check that I can show upon request. I also carry a NDIS worker screening card (yellow card) as support work is also something I love to do. If your child does have a disability please know that I am fully capable of their care as I have had years of experience working with both adults as well as children with both physical, behavioural and intellectual disabilities and this does not change a thing, as I do not discriminate in any way. I believe that no one is better than anyone and that every single child is special in their own way and deserves respect and love no matter what. As a child carer I can assure the overall professional and authentic care, not just as a worker but as a friend and someone that genuinely cares. Special Needs Experience
As I have worked as a support worker previously, I undergone professional training in regard to special needs and the overall care for those living with a disability. Including medication training, behavioural monitoring management along with manual handling if this is needed for the care of your child. I have the confidence and ability to work with all children and I do not discriminate as I believe that all children deserve love and respect no matter what.
Childcare Experience
Being a child carer simply comes naturally to me as I have been looking after children of all ages ever since I was 13. This was because I came from such a large family that I was always the one who was happily looking after my cousins and my baby sister. I am confident looking after children of all ages with whatever needs they may have.
Tutoring Experience
In my experience of tutoring I have always enjoyed giving my experience and knowledge to others. I believe that to teach someone, you need the passion and motivation. I have accepted a few odd jobs with my friends and family so to tutor professionally would be new to me but not something that I am afraid of. My most enjoyable subject to teach is music as I have always had a burning passion for both singing, guitar and above all composing music as I believe music can bring a creative side to someone they never knew existed. I am confident to teach all subjects on the level of primary and high school subjects.
