Special Needs Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Education degree and a Graduate Diploma in Language and Literacy. I have 4 years experiencing teaching a children with additional needs in mainstream classrooms. Additionally, for the past four summers, I have cared for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder ADHD, ODD, dyslexia and dyspraxia. under the July Provision Scheme

I have worked a private tutor as well as a primary school teacher for the last 4 years. I am particular passionate about helping children with Literacy and English. I chose to engage in specialist study of Language and Literacy as part of my Bachelor of Education. Furthermore, I have recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, English and Literacy in the Curriculum in St. Mary’s College, Queen’s University Belfast, UK. I have gleaned a great deal of knowledge and skills in relation to children with English as an Additional Language and children with literacy challenges. Thus I feel well equipped to rule children in this area.
