Hi everyone! My name is Bea. I’m a 23 year old working at a local Aboriginal Community Organisation and about to start my Honours in Social Work at UNSW. I'm a fun, reliable and gentle gal with years of experience with kids aged 1 to 12; from random babysitting jobs to nannying children with special needs. I'm energetic, love doing art projects, and would be happy to help with homework when need be! I pride myself on leaving a tidy home for you to come home to; always cleaning up dishes and toys. I have my Working With Children check, First Aid Certificate, Police Check, full licence (and car) and references as per requested. I look forward to hearing from you!
I have at least 6 years of childminding experience. This ranges from odd babysitting jobs, to regular nannying, to babysitting children with special needs regularly. I’m the eldest child in my extended family so am very comfortable being the responsible carer. I’m currently undertaking my social work placement at an organisation which requires me to work heavily with at-risk youth. This has taught me to exercise responsibility and control with teenagers where need be.
I was a good student in highschool, receiving an ATAR of 88 and high marks in English, Drama and Society and Culture. I am achieving high grades in university with a distinction average, and am highly competent in reading and writing skills. I’ve always helped my younger siblings and cousins with homework, and this comes naturally to me.
