Hi, my name is Jessie I am from Edinburgh, Scotland. I am a confident and hard working individual with excellent communication skills. I work well within a team but I also can work on my own initiative. I have gained valuable skills from both my academic courses and extracurricular activities and my full time employment. I have a real desire in working with children as I know it is a very rewarding and uplifting job. This line of work would be something I am very interested in taking further in my life and I feel that it could be very satisfactory for me. Since leaving school I have had experience working with children such as babysitting and Nannying. Over the past years I have supported my younger brother who is now in primary six with his online learning from home which I feel has enhanced my desire to work with children. Additionally I have nannied for families on the childcare.com app for the past three years and this is something I have thoroughly enjoyed and I am now looking for a permanent/ long term post.

Childcare Experience
As I have grown up with 5 siblings I have always had a desire to work with children and as I became old enough I began to babysit for family and friends. This is something that I thoroughly enjoy doing as I love to see children develop through play activities. I would love to broaden my experience working with children of different ages and backgrounds. Over the past three years I have nannied for families with young children where I have spent quality time with the children going outdoors, baking, doing arts and crafts, picking the children up and dropping them off at school. Taking the children to extracurricular activities such as swimming and musical instrument lessons. I believe outdoor play is a large aspect of a child's learning and development and something I enjoy doing when working with children. My experience over the past three years working with children of all ages has commented on my desire to continue working with children as it is a strong passion of mine to aid in their learning and development therefore I am now looking for a permanent post.
