Hi all!! I am a criminology graduate from Cork, Ireland. I recently moved to Melbourne and would love the opportunity to start a nannying/babysitting job over here! Back home, I have had lots of experience both working with , and looking after kids from the ages of 2. I began my first babysitting job when I was 16, caring for two girls who were , at the time ,7 and 9. I babysat them every weekend and some evenings, for two years while their parents worked. We enjoyed many outdoor activities such as going on walks, cycling and playing in the garden, when the weather was bad we would bake, paint and watch a movie. I also worked part time in a Kids Club in a local hotel during busy holiday periods. I was responsible for caring for children between the ages of 2-12 while also planning out fun and engaging activities. The activities were very weather dependent, but included trips to the beach, sports days, picnics outside , arts and crafts, disco nights and also movie nights. During this time , myself as well as my colleagues were responsible for the children’s well being and safety while under our supervision , but also ensuring they had a great time while in the club! As the eldest sibling in my family , I have had a lot of hands-on personal experience helping to care for my younger brothers. This included maintaining the house while my parents were away, cooking meals, dropping/picking them up from school, and helping them with their homework. I also have younger cousins who I babysat on a regular basis between the ages of 1 and 3. During this time we would play indoors with their toys, go for walks to the park, and on occasion a trip to the local soft play area. I am a very caring, organised, responsible young person and would love the opportunity to display this to any family searching for a nanny/babysitter. I also love animals, so any family pets would certainly be a bonus!
