Hi Mums and Dads, I'm a part time Paediatric Nurse available for evening babysitting. Unfortunately I cannot currently commit to any full day nannying jobs, as I already have a family I nanny for in addition to my job as a paediatric nurse. Ideally I need a minimum of a weeks notice for babysitting due to other commitments. Thanks! Alice
I have up to date Paediatric Basic Life Support and through working in child care& nursing i have experienced caring for children with a vast range of special needs such as ASD, CP, GDD, epilepsy and much more
I've been babysitting since I was 16yrs old for children aged newborn to 12yrs old. I also worked in child care for approximately 5yrs while completing my VCE and Bachelor of Nursing. Since I began working as a Paediatric Nurse on a busy acute medical children's ward in 2011 I realised as much as I loved nursing I was really missing looking after a "well" child. Getting to play games with them, read books, plan activities and adventures, do art & craft, all while following their daily routine. I then began nannying 1day/ week for a family with an 11mnth old girl. She's now 6yrs old with a 4yr old brother and I still nanny them during school holidays. Since last year I started with a new family 1day/ wk with a 1yr old and 3yr old. I love my Wednesday's nannying! We have so much fun together and it breaks up my sometimes hard weeks at a large Children's Hospital in Melbourne.
