Hello, My name is Elaine McElduff. I am a National school teacher who has just moved to Sydney from Ireland. I am very family oriented and enjoy every day in the classroom, creating a bond with the different kids each day. As I have just moved from Ireland, I am happy to mind kids and help out families for the time being until I find my feet and go back to my teaching career. I am 23 years old but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been in classrooms for the last five years. I have my Working With Children’s Check. I have vast experience with children and I completely understand that each child has their own unique qualities and needs. Variety is what makes the world go round and I always encourage that. I would love the opportunity to help families in the coming weeks and spend time minding children again before going back into the classroom. Thank you for taking your time to read this, Elaine McElduff
Throughout my University degree, I studied specified modules for Special Needs. I carried out my school placement in a Special Needs classroom which resulted in months of casual teaching with those classes. As well as that, I spent three years as a Casual Nanny for a family back in Ireland. The three children in that family have Austism and so I enjoyed minding them and being a relief carer for the family.
I am a National school teacher and so I am comfortable with children of all ages. I also have vast experience with babies and toddlers as my boyfriend has nieces and nephews back in Ireland who I always volunteered to mind, not only to help out but because I enjoy it so much.
