Hello! I’m Sushma, 23 years old, and I’ve been working in the childcare industry for the past 3 years. Working with children has truly become a part of who I am. Every child I meet brings something unique and beautiful, and I feel so grateful to be able to support their growth, laughter, and little adventures every day. I currently work as a childcare educator during the week, and now I’m hoping to offer my time and care to families who may need a gentle, nurturing babysitter on weekends. My passion for working with children goes beyond just a job—it’s a calling. I believe in creating a warm, safe, and joyful environment where children feel loved, heard, and free to be themselves. I love engaging with them through play, storytelling, art, and nature. I’m especially drawn to calm outdoor activities and believe in the power of nature to calm little hearts and spark big imaginations. I hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and have experience with children of all ages, from infants to older kids. Parents often describe me as kind, patient, and trustworthy. Being originally from Nepal, I bring a sense of calm, deep respect for family values, and a warm, loving nature in everything I do. Childcare Experience
I have been working closely with children aged 0 to 5 years for over three years now, and in that time, I have learned that every moment in a child’s early life is precious. From a baby’s first smile to a toddler’s curious questions, I treasure the little milestones that many might overlook. I’ve supported children through their first steps, helped them find their first words, and offered comfort through tears and giggles alike. These early years are the foundation of a child’s emotional and social world—and being trusted to play a part in that journey is the most rewarding part of my work. There’s something truly special about caring for babies and toddlers—the way they look at the world with wonder, the way they respond to love, patience, and gentle guidance. I feel completely at ease caring for little ones. I understand their unspoken needs, their shifting moods, and their desire to feel safe and seen. I offer them calm, nurturing care filled with kindness, respect, and consistency. Parents can feel confident knowing that I will care for their children as if they were my own—with soft hands, a listening heart, and a deep sense of responsibility. I don’t just “watch” children—I connect with them, build their confidence, and create a space where they feel truly cherished.
