Childcare Experience

I have over 5 years of experience working with children in educational and caregiving settings. As a qualified teacher in Peru, I taught English to children aged 2 to 11, both in group and individual settings. I created engaging, age-appropriate lessons that supported each child’s learning style and emotional needs. This role helped me develop strong communication, behaviour management, and planning skills. In addition to my teaching role, I also worked as a teacher aide, assisting with younger children in early childhood classrooms. I supported their learning, helped manage classroom routines, and provided one-on-one attention to children who needed extra emotional or academic support. I also worked as a nanny for a family in Peru, caring for a 2-year-old girl in the afternoons. I was responsible for her daily routine, including feeding, playtime, storytelling, music, and quiet activities. I created a safe, fun and nurturing environment while maintaining open communication with her parents. My experience as a teacher, teacher aide, and nanny has given me a deep understanding of child development and a genuine passion for helping children grow in confidence, learning and wellbeing.
