Childcare Experience
I have been working at International Grammar School in Ultimo since 2018, running clubs such as Science Club and working in after school care as a Responsible Person in Charge. I have over 8 years experience in babysitting and childcare as well as tutoring maths and English with children from a variety of ages and abilities. I have experience with children of all ages, including newborns. I also have experience with children with a variety of needs, such as children with ASD, ADHD, ODD, linguistic differences and behavioural difficulties. I’m in my final year of a Bachelor of Primary Education at UTS and am very excited to soon become a teacher.
Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring since 2020. When the pandemic hit I worked with a couple families to help their students stay on track in a very difficult time. Since then, I have worked with students from all ages in maths and English learning areas as well as working self regulation skills and managing exam anxiety. Being in my final year of a primary teaching degree, I am able to bring academic knowledge and pedagogy into my practice. I have experience working with children who suffer from anxiety, children with ADHD and/or ASD, and children with language difficulties.
