Hello hello! I’ve just moved to Brissy from beautiful Magnetic Island! I was quite the all-rounder there; having my own gardening business, house cleaning, and babysitting! I can also give references from the families I au-paired for the past five years (four different caring, fun families!) I have experience as a youth worker back home in the US, and behavioral issues don’t deter me in the slightest- so don’t be afraid to be open and honest about what your child needs. Special Needs Experience
I have worked with kids between the ages of 6 and 18 that have type 1 diabetes, autism, ODD, OCD, adhd, and bi-polar disorder.
Childcare Experience
I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old, now 33 years old. I have 3 years experience as a youth worker, working with adolescents struggling to manage mental illness. Then I came to Australia in 2019 to be an au-pair, which I have done for several families. I absolutely LOVE kids! Each age brings different joy, and overall seeing the world through a child’s eyes is just the biggest reminder of how amazing each day is!
