Hello, I’m Lillie, I’m 21 years old and I currently work casually in disability support for cerebral palsy alliance and I am studying a bachelor of occupational therapy. I am looking for work at any time on Mondays, Fridays and the weekend as well as work in the mornings on any day. This can be in a nanny/au pair role, or even in tutoring, as I was the dux of Mount St Benedict College in 2020 and have experience tutoring (including students who required learning support). I have heaps of experience working with kids. I’ve been babysitting since I was 12 and have more recently been nannying. I also lived and worked in a boarding school in the UK, where I was a “house matron”. In this role, I was responsible for maintaining the house and looking after the kids (which was up to 25:1 at times!!). I have my own car and my full license. I have disability checks, police checks, WWCC, and references, should you require them! I am proficient in CPR and first aid. In my occupational therapy course at the moment, I am learning about infants and children and have placements in paediatric units, so therefore have knowledge about how to best support development, learning, cognition, and psycho-emotional wellbeing. Special Needs Experience
Extensive training with Cerebral Palsy Alliance and studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Australian Catholic University. As part of my training at CPA, I can administer medication, complete transfers, tube feed, assist in bowel care, administer oral care and perform complex personal care tasks.
Childcare Experience
Dragon School Oxford: worked as the boarding house assistant, managing a boarding house for boys and girls between the ages of 7 to 13. As part of this role, I provided activities for students, managed the washing and cleaning of the house, maintained the well-being of the students (through medication and mental health), took students to appointments and the hospital, supervised students in the day and then was available overnight. Babysitting: have been babysitting since I was young. Taking care of up to six children at a time, ranging from the ages of 3 months to 12 years. I helped in bathing and dressing the children and also in cooking meals for them. Tutoring: have tutored high school students on organisation and high school subjects. Assisted in assessment tasks and homework.
