Childcare Experience
I have been babysitting and completing regular school pick-ups since the age of 15, caring for children aged 5–11, which has developed my strong sense of responsibility and organisation. Between the ages of 17 and 19, I provided full-day childcare during school holidays, often caring for multiple children at once, including an 18-month-old, a 4-year-old and an 8-year-old. At 19, I spent three months working at an American summer camp, where I was responsible for the care and wellbeing of 12 girls aged 10–12. I am confident managing multiple children simultaneously and thrive in busy environments. I hold a degree in Human Anatomy, meaning that while I do not have a formal healthcare qualification, I have a strong understanding of the body and, through both education and experience, a good understanding of children. I am confident in handling situations calmly and appropriately based on my experience. My preferred age range is toddlers through to the end of primary school.
