Hi there mums and dads! My name is Amber and I am 18 years old. I am currently studying a beauty course at Box Hill and i enjoy playing sports such as footy, gymnastics and surfing. I also love spending time outside, being with friends and family and getting to know new people. I have now had over 4 years experience working in hospitality, retail and support work where I look after a 14 year old boy. Working over these past few years, my confidence has flourished and my communication skills have strengthened. I have grown up with one old sister and my self. I have been surrounded with little ones for majority of my life with baby cousins, neighbours that i have baby sat previously and my work with support care! Special Needs Experience
I am currently working with a family who has a 14 year old boy who is autistic and non verbal for over a year by now. I am able to help him by showering, toileting, feeding, entertaining and taking him out in little walks through the neighbourhood.
Childcare Experience
I have been with little ones my whole life. I have been able look after kiddos for about 4 years by now with neighbours kids going into prep, my support work with a 14 year old ect. I would never consider this as work, as itās most rewarding to watch them grow up and for me to be a role model for them.
