Hi, my name is Joy. I’m an experienced and caring early childhood educator with around six years of experience in a Family Day Care setting. After that, I worked in healthcare, which helped me build strong communication skills, patience, and a calm, supportive approach. I now feel ready to return to working with children, as both areas of experience work well together in an in-home care role. I hold a Certificate III in Children’s Services (YWCA), current First Aid and CPR, a WWVP (ACT), and I have my own car and driver’s licence. I’m reliable, punctual, and take my role seriously. I’m looking for nanny, babysitting, school drop-off and pick-up, or regular in-home care work. I’ll be available to start from early or mid-February, beginning with around 10–15 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing hours in the following months.
I have several years of experience caring for children in family day care and home-based settings. I am comfortable working with early school-age and primary school-age children, supporting daily routines, school drop-offs and pick-ups, and preparing simple meals. I find childcare most rewarding when I can build trusting relationships with children and families and provide a safe, calm, and nurturing environment.
