Hi! I live in manly on the Northern beaches and have grown up around here all my life. I attended the Scots College in Bellevue hill and I am currently studying at Sydney University. I have a lot of experience in childcare, I’ve been a basketball coach for both boys and girls, aged 4-17 years old, for 4 years now. I’ve got my working with children’s check and have received training in child care. I’ve had experience in babysitting, I’m competent in pick up and drop offs, ushering to before and after school activities, as well as cooking and helping with homework. Childcare Experience
I’ve been looking after children at both Sceggs Darlinghurst and Sceggs Redlands for 4 years now. That has been in the capacity of both basketball coaching and after school care. I’ve worked with children aged 4-17, and feel I can adapt to any age group. I find that in my personal experience, childcare is incredibly rewarding, especially being able to teach a child a skill, or technique, or just basic life skills and watching them perfect it and be proud of themselves is incredibly cool.
Tutoring Experience
I have not been a formal tutor, however, I received a 94.75 ATAR, so am capable of teaching primary level maths, reading and writing. I have been tutoring my little sister in maths since she was in year 7, and she has received fantastic grades. I am also studying financial economics at university, So I am still engaged in education.
