Hi there. I’m a High School Religion and History teacher from Ireland. I have years of experience working with children and teenagers, particularly between the ages of 11-18. However, I am open to looking after younger children as well. I am also an animal lover and I am used to looking after dogs having had one at home for many years. I love cooking and would be happy to do any cooking or cleaning that may be needed. I am registered with NESA and with the Department of Education in NSW. I have my Working with Children Check. I am not looking for full-time work as I have another job but I am hoping to find some families that require a babysitter from time to time.

Childcare Experience
I have two plus years of experience of full time teaching in a secondary school in Ireland (High School). I also have experience teaching while on school placement during the four years I was in college (University). The most rewarding part about looking after children and teenagers is being able to help them, watch them grow - emotionally, socially and academically.
Tutoring Experience
I obtained my Bachelor of Religious Education with History in 2020. I have two years teaching experience working in a secondary school in Ireland where I taught History at both a junior and senior level, exam and non-exam R.E. I was also a class tutor and had a pastoral care class each week which is more centred around the overall well-being of students. I have also taught career guidance where we focus on study skills and exam prep, time management and goal setting. I have some experience teaching students with SEN - I had two classes per week working with small groups and focusing on literacy skills.
