Hi Parents and Caregivers, I’m Amber and I’m 15 years old - 16 this year 👋 I have been babysitting for families around Rockingham and Mandurah for a year now and have loved every minute of it! I hold a National Police Clearance, Covid and Influenza vaccinations, Emergency First Aid, Certificate III in Animal Care, and have completed a Child Developmental Program. I’m currently awaiting my NDIS Clearance and WWCC. I have experience with children aged 2 years - 11 years but am comfortable and confident with any ages. I have extensive experience with ASD, ADHD/ADD, and allergies. I have a wealth of knowledge on children with Heart Disease and Asthma. I am currently completing my Certificate III in Animal Care through TAFE 🎉 I have my Certificate II in General Education for Adults (CGEA) so am happy to offer basic tutoring and/or help with afterschool homework. I have a very bubbly, easygoing, and fun personality and enjoy cooking, cleaning, and exercising so rest assured your house will be left spotless 🤩 I bring my own interactive, fun, and hands on activities for the children to enjoy as well as some things to bake so me and the kids can have a yummy snack. (All cooking and activities will be supervised and only done with your permission) I do pet sitting on the side so have a number of reviews and contactable references from my beloved clients 🥰 I am very mature and have completed work placement at Bethanie Waters Aged Care Facility, Yappy Days Doggy Daycare, and Green Cross Vets Baldivis. I can provide letter of recommendations from these 🌻 Due to my age, I am only available after school hours on weekdays (from 2:45pm onwards) but on Wednesday’s I’m available from 12:00pm onwards. I’m available all day and overnight on weekends, public holidays, and school holidays. I do work placement on Friday’s and am available from 4:00pm onwards. I am happy to take your children to walking distance places (parks ect) and pick them up / take them to school/daycare depending on location. Childcare Experience
Working with children has been a truly rewarding experience for me over the past year. I have had the opportunity to interact with children ranging from 2 to 11 years old, each with their own unique backgrounds and personalities. I have developed a deep love for children and have enjoyed learning from them as much as I have taught them. In my time working with children, I have encountered various challenges such as managing ADHD/ADD, ASD, allergies, asthma, and heart disease. These experiences have helped me develop a deeper understanding of the needs of children with different health conditions and how best to support them.
Tutoring Experience
I have been helping children with their homework for the past year now. I am very knowledgeable in Mathematics and English. I have received all A’s in my schooling reports since Year 6.
