I have been in the education sector for over 15 years in a range of context and capacities, including 10+ teaching in classrooms across government, independent and Catholic schools and in both primary and secondary settings. As a consequence of this, I have detailed knowledge of education and am passionate about curriculum, differentiation, learning diversity and assessment. Prior to my time as a qualified teacher, I was Program Coordinator for an Outside Hour School Care (OHSC) Centre. My contributions and achievements included the development, implementation and evaluation of a fun, safe and quality program for children in accordance with DECS National OSHC Standards. Serving as a role model and mentor to the children participating in the programs, as well as promoting a positive group atmosphere, self-esteem, and social skills were other key components of my position.
