Childcare Experience
I have been working with children for the past four years, particularly in both my dance and school community. I have been working as a dance teacher and an assistant dance teacher, providing me with experience with kids, particularly in explaining concepts and building rapport. I have gone on two school trips to an indigenous community in Cairns, where we ran a kids holiday program. This opportunity gave me experience in planning programs, giving simple explanations and, again, building rapport with children. Other experience with children that I have include organising and running a lunchtime school group, helping with reading groups, babysitting and leading the kids program at church
Tutoring Experience
I am still an apprentice Home Tutor, however, I have been helping primary school aged children for the past 2 years with their understanding of their homework and assignments so that they are able to complete their work to the best of their ability.
