Hi there! I am a primary teacher with nine years teaching experience in Sydney, Australia and London, England. This year I have taken a year’s leave to study children’s yoga teaching and to set up my own business. I love working with children one-on-one to support their emerging literacy and numeracy skills, but this year I also enjoy helping families with babysitting or nannying. Childcare Experience
Whilst studying my teaching degree I babysat primary-aged children and absolutely loved this. I also had an ongoing nannying position with twin babies from newborn age until they were two. For the past nine years I have worked as a primary school teacher, teaching students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
Tutoring Experience
Whilst teaching in London, England for four years, I tutored students from Kindergarten (Reception) to Year 3 in the areas of literacy and numeracy. I worked predominantly with students who were not achieving expected outcomes for their academic year or age group.
