Hi all, I have been working in the education sector for over 3 years now in both Australia and the UK. I am midway through completing my secondary education degree and I am working as an SLSO as well. I have a passion for education, and I know the impact a good education can have on an individual child’s learning and character. I have been an SLSO for over 3 years, therefore I have avid experience working with students of all abilities. I am so excited to meet you and your children and help impact their lives through quality, individualised tutoring. I am also able to help with odd jobs if needed during non-school hours, whether this be with your kids or something different. I have had baby sitting experience in the past, and have worked as a landscaper and can do odd jobs around the home if needed.
I have worked with students who are wheelchair bound with Cerebral Palsy. I have worked with visually impaired students and students with ASD, ADHD, low working memory, gifted and talented and dyslexia
I have been working with children for over 3 years, and have had casual child minding jobs as well.
I have worked 1:1 and with small groups during my time as an SLSO for over 3 years. I have worked with primary students of all ages and abilities, specifically aiding them with Maths and English. I have worked in high school settings for most of my SLSO experience. I have been helping students from 7-12, specifically those with lower abilities or learning difficulties. My specialisation is PDHPE and History as they are the subjects I am training to teach, however I have been aiding students in standard maths and English for over 3 years.
