Hi mums and dads, last year I did a half gap year in England! I spent 4.5 months working at primary boarding school in England where I learnt a lot about working with kids, keeping them engaged in activities and as well as making sure the boarders got their homework done, brushed their teeth, etc. I currently work in before and after school care at a local primary school and as an in person maths tutor. Last year I tutored a year 12 student in Extension 1 maths for a few months (before I left for my gap year). I currently tutor for 4 students (3x year 5s and a year 12 in Standard 2 Maths). I received an ATAR of 98.15, 95/100 in Maths Extension 1 and 88/100 in Maths Extension 2. I can also tutor Drama essay writing. I was ranked 1st in my grade for my major work (Reviews of Theatre Criticism) and received a 97/100 mark for HSC Drama.

Childcare Experience
I spent 4.5 months caring for children on my own, and with other members of staff full time at an English primary school. I ran my own club and co-ran several clubs. I helped out with boarding most nights of the week and with sports everyday. I was often asked to help kids who struggled socially or mentally to join in and be motivated to give scary things a go. Off of Juggle St, I’ve babysat a few times in the past for a family with 3 kids. I would watch them after dinner, get them ready for bed and read them some stories before they went to sleep. I currently work in before and after school care at a local primary school a few times a week.
Tutoring Experience
I tutored a year 12 student in maths extension 1 for a few months (paid work). I’ve also helped my brothers, friends at school and students at the school I worked at for free. I currently tutor 3 year 5’s in maths and a year 12 in Standard Maths 2 and have been doing so for several months now. I am also able to tutor Drama Written for years 9-12. In year 12 I did Maths Extension 1 and 2. My ATAR was 98.15 and I score a 95 in Ext. 1 and an 88 in Ext. 2. I also did Drama and received a 97/100 in my HSC.
