Hi everyone! I’ve just graduated from high school and am super keen to use my free time to help out in any way possible. I have experience babysitting my younger cousins, coaching them in football and surfing and tutoring them in maths (my favourite subject). I also have experience in outdoor cleaning and odd jobs from helping out at my grandmother’s retirement village. I love the outdoors and pretty much all sports. I’m energetic, patient, flexible and adaptable and can’t wait to be an asset to you and your family.
Although I’m new to formal babysitting I have over four years experience looking after my younger cousins and family friends, daytime and nighttime, taking them to the park or beach, just hanging out at home or helping them with their homework. They ranged in age from seven to twelve so I’d say I’m most comfortable with primary school aged children but would be very happy looking after children a little younger or older. I really think children are amazing and it’s always super rewarding when you see them smile. The thing I probably most like about childcare is how genuine children are, and how their smiles and laughter radiate joy in me. I love the conversations they delve into, how intently they try to work through things that worry or perplex them and the intrigue they show when learning something new.
For anyone in high school, I am most qualified in maths and drama, receiving a band 6 and band 5 in the HSC. I can tutor in standard maths for Year 11 and 12 students and all levels of maths for Year 7-10 students. I helped many in my year 12 cohort with maths and made sure they understood something before moving forward. I am looking to become an actor and am signed with an acting agency, whom I have done numerous courses with to help my acting skills. I am most qualified in the practical aspect of drama but am also able to assist in essay preparation as well. I have a great understanding of the required elements of drama in the HSC, and am also very comfortable in tutoring anyone in years 7-11 in drama.
